Loup County school staffer charged with abuse of student with Down syndrome

A former Loup County Public Schools employee accused of pinching a student with Down syndrome is facing up to three years in prison. Prosecutors charged Mary Yarrington, 63, of Merna with felonious intentional child abuse late last month.
