CHARLESTON — The Coles County Board is scheduled on Tuesday, Oct. 14, to hear a request to reconsider a proposed multi-jurisdiction solar farm south of Mattoon. Developer Earthrise Energy of Arlington, Virginia recently submitted this request after the Coles County Board voted 7-5 on Sept. 9 against the special use permit application for the portion of the Glacier Moraine project in its jurisdiction.
